ABOUT US
The Beginning of Seva:
Upon visiting the rural villages in Tamilnadu, her native state, Kavitha became more aware of the lack of educational and medical access for young children. The children she spent time with were eager to learn, but were unable to pursue this desire due to the lack of financial help. After her visit, Kavitha returned with one motive in mind: to bring access to education and medical help to the underprivileged youth. She is a firm advocate of youth education as she believes that education is the most powerful tool an individual can possess - it is the knowledge acquired through education that enables children to become more aware of the world and grow into the next generation of doctors, lawyers, engineers, business people, etc. She put her goals into reality in what became the birth of Seva for Kids.
Seva, in Sanskrit, means service and our organization hopes to serve these children with a lasting impact, so that they, too, can make a change in the world.
